Along with the 20% discount we give 1% cashback to use on the app for every £1 spent. This goes into the ‘My Rewards’ Section of the app and customers can use their rewards to pay for their journey.

We are delighted to announce that Street Cars is the official Private Hire Taxi Supplier for the University of Manchester Students Union, Manchester Metropolitan University Students Union, Salford University Students Union and the Royal Northern College of Music. We are working hand in hand with the Student Unions to provide you with service that you deserve. All students with a valid university I.D or NUS card are entitled to 10% discount of their metered fare.

No Money To Get Home?
All you need to do is follow these steps:
Telephone StreetCars quoting ‘Manchester SU Safe Taxi Scheme’.
Wait safely for your car, check your car is from StreetCars before you get in
Give the driver your student ID card and ask for a receipt
After 12pm the following day, collect your student ID card from the Student’s Union reception in exchange of payment for your fare NUS CARD
